CALL FOR PAPERS
The Lighting 2023 Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you to the Eighth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting 2023), either by submitting paper(s) in the area of the conference topics or with sponsorship.
A full paper describing work not previously published or presented should be submitted via the Conference Management System. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. Each author can participate in up to three papers.
The conference will be held from September 23 to 25, 2023 as a Hybrid event (authors can attend either in-person in Sozopol, Bulgaria or online from wherever they are). Lighting 2023 is organized under the auspices of the National Committee for Lighting in Bulgaria (NKO), technically co-sponsored by IEEE (conference record #59819) and financially co-sponsored by the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
The NKO is an independent non-profit association, which has over 50 years of history. As a member of the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), it follows the CIE policy on the science of light and lighting, color and vision, photobiology and other relevant areas.
SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
The conference provides an ideal place for young researchers to present the latest research activities and describe recent and emerging developments and directions in the field of lighting and lighting technologies. It aims at getting together young researchers to exchange and share their experience and research results within (but not limited) to the conference topics.
VENUE
The Eighth Junior Conference on Lighting (Lighting 2023), will be held from September 23 to 25, 2023 as a Hybrid event (authors can attend either in-person in Sozopol, Bulgaria or online from wherever they are).
LANGUAGE
The working language of the conference is English.
PAPER PRESENTATION
Papers will be presented in oral and poster sessions. Authors are asked to suggest the preferred form of presentation while the Technical Program Committee will make the final decision. Authors are expected to attend the conference (either in-person or online to present their papers).

Lighting 2023 is registered as an IEEE conference #59819. IEEE is the copyright holder of the Conference Proceedings. All accepted papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, if the paper is not presented at the conference
